Availability of Topographic Charts

The development of topographic charts was started in 1999 (at the State Land Service) for the city of Riga
Later, they were developed for the following towns/cities and densely populated areas, using aerial photography material from 1999-2005:
Salaspils, Ķekava, Bauska, Jelgava, Ventspils, Aknīste, Ainaži, Ancene, Asare, Baldone, Jēkabpils (partial), Sigulda, Vangaži, Jūdaži, Kārsava, Koknese, Lapmežciems (partial), Liepāja (partial), Limbaži (partial), Lubāna, Ogre, Pļaviņas, Seda, Subate, Valmiermuiža, Olaine, Rūjiena (partial with certainty of scale 1:1000), Dikļi
In 2008, data were compiled to order for the town of Lielvārde
In 2011 were actualized topographic chart for Lubāna, Cēsu and Koknese towns and for the county of Engure is actualized topographic chart for Lapmežciems and developed charts for Bigauņciems and Ragaciems

In 2006, data for the central part of the city of Riga were updated using Quick Bird satellite images and other available materials: cadastre and survey data,as well as by using field inspections

In 2015 the work has started on the preperation of the topographic chart, scale 1:2000 for Daugavpils, Jēkabpils, Rēzekne, Valmiera and Liepāja cities
